This book takes you on a crazy journey. You will not want to put it down.

The book was fantastic. I thought I could read it in short spurts here and there, but once I sat down I couldn’t stop reading. When she describes her locations it feels like I’m actually there. I can visualize exactly where she is. Highly recommend!

One of the most well crafted plots I’ve read in a while. It was full of suspense and so many twists. Absolutely loved the book. I couldn’t put it down.

This is a great read! Its not like your other books! Loving family, suspense, twists, and detail!

This book was hard to put down. Such a great story and full of twists. The ending is a jaw dropper

I read this in 1 day . I loved everything about it. I would love to see more from this author.

A very well written book, I really enjoyed it.

As someone who found out about a family secret in my thirties, this book hit close to home. Brooks doesn't sugarcoat how devastating it is to learn your childhood wasn't what you thought. The friendship between Andi and Lynn reminded me of my own best friend, who got me through my hardest times. Beautifully written and emotionally honest!!!

This book broke my heart and put it back together again. I've been through my own medical crisis with my daughter, and the desperation Andi feels searching for a donor is portrayed so accurately. The way everything connected to her father's secret life was shocking but believable.

Don't usually read family dramas, but my wife recommended this, and I'm glad she did. The mystery kept me hooked, but what really got me was how Brooks shows a mother doing whatever it takes to save her kid. Made me think about my own parents differently. Really well done for a first novel.
